Apex Accounting Welcomes Claire Short, CPA to Cranbrook Office

As a part of our promise to better know our clients and for our clients to better know us, we would like to take a moment to formally introduce some of the newer members of our team.

First up is one of the wonderful CPA’s at our Cranbrook office, Claire Short.

Claire Short, CPA

Claire obtained her ICAEW, CA in 2008 and transferred her U.K designation to CPA in November 2019. Claire’s training in public practice as well as her work in industry and the public sector have allowed her to gain a wealth of experience in all aspects of business. Claire enjoys the variety and fast paced nature of public practice and is involved in all areas of client service, including audit, review, compilation, personal, and corporate taxes.

Originally from the UK, Claire and her family decided to make Canada their home after moving here for two years for her husband’s job. After spending some time in Medicine Hat, AB and Nelson, Claire and her family finally decided the East Kootenay was the place for them to settle down.

Family oriented, Claire, along with her husband and two children, look forward to being actively involved in the community and embracing all that the East Kootenay has to offer. In her time off, Claire enjoys travelling and supporting her family’s sporting pursuits.
