Apex Accounting Jeans Day Proceeds Donated to Local Charities

Each year, Apex Accounting is fortunate enough to be able to donate money raised through our Jeans Day program to local not-for-profits.

The Jeans Day program is a program where all staff members donate $5 a month to be able to wear jeans on Fridays. Each month, the total is matched by the firm and at the end of the year the staff choose where they would like the funds to be donated.

This year, the Cranbrook Chamber of Commerce’s Turkey Drive was chosen by our Cranbrook office to receive their $1,200 donation, with the proceeds going to the Cranbrook Food Bank and the Salvation Army.

Apex Accounting’s Creston office, who also raised $1,200, chose to donate their Jeans Day profits to the Creston Ministerial Christmas Hampers and the Creston Pet Adoption and Welfare Society. They have also been busy volunteering their time to handle the registration process for the Creston Ministerial Christmas Hampers as well as volunteering on the day of distribution.

The Creston Ministerial Christmas Hampers program volunteers put together hampers filled with groceries and gifts which are then distributed to lower-income families to enjoy at Christmas.

Both our Creston and Cranbrook offices are very grateful to have been able to participate in these great causes and to be able to give back to those in need in their communities.
